Our client, an established manufacturer, seeks a dedicated Structural Engineer to enhance their team. You'll be integral from project inception, determining structural requirements and design efficiency. Collaborate closely with sales, drafting, and production teams to ensure effective solutions for diverse building projects.
Key Responsibilities: • Support estimating by reviewing plans and specifications • Prepare structural designs and calculations for projects • Assist with material and project feasibility analyses • Design wood-frame and post frame systems and connections • Review and stamp structural drawings professionally
Requirements: • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering • P.Eng. registration in Manitoba or eligibility • Experience in wood-frame or modular construction • Strong understanding of structural loads and foundations • Communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
