We are seeking a detail-oriented
Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
to support our warehouse operations. In this role, you will ensure the efficient receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of products while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting internal and external customers.
What You’ll Do Shipping & Receiving
Unpack, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
Identify and report damaged items, shortages, or discrepancies.
Receive, verify, and release products into inventory.
Route incoming packages and materials to the appropriate departments, including repair services.
Process and ship internal transfer requests.
Pick, pack, and ship customer orders to destinations throughout Canada and the United States.
Prepare domestic and international shipments with appropriate documentation.
Process and ship company equipment and materials through parcel and freight carriers.
Handle laboratory chemicals and hazardous goods shipments following applicable regulations and training requirements.
Warehouse Operations
Sort, organize, and stage products for shipment.
Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and storage accuracy.
Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Assist with trade show logistics, including preparing, staging, and shipping exhibits and related materials.
Process product returns in coordination with Customer Support and management.
Inventory & Compliance
Perform blind cycle counts and report inventory variances.
Maintain accurate inventory records utilizing scanning devices and warehouse systems.
Coordinate CSA product inspections as required.
Verify warehouse equipment certifications and ensure equipment remains in safe operating condition.
Follow company safety procedures and applicable transportation regulations.
What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Minimum one (1) year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or related experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with ERP, MRP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems.
Experience with barcode scanning technology and inventory control processes.
Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
Experience with international shipping documentation and carrier systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
Ability to lift and move packages and equipment on a regular basis.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
