  • Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners

  • Position patients
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals materials to patients or to biological samples
  • Train technicians, assistants, students or interns
  • Record and process results of procedures
  • Apply radiation protection measures
  • Explain procedures and side effects of radiation
  • Perform basic verification and quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment
  • Record and process patient data
  • Provide appropriate care and monitoring of the patient during the examinationCertificates, licences, memberships, and courses
