StandardAero is seeking a motivated, eager, and innovative student looking to join our Engineering Team in Winnipeg MB CA for the 2025 summer term.

Job Duties:
StandardAero is seeking Engineering students for summer term positions (4 or 8 months) to support StandardAero’s production and growth projects. This work may include activities as listed below:

  1. Develop repairs for engine components.
  2. Reprocess cost evaluation and recommendations for reduction.
  3. Develop repair on non-conforming parts.
  4. Perform technical manual reviews.
  5. Review tooling requirements and implement into shop.
  6. Write technical reports and procedures.
  7. Coordinate process improvement initiatives.
  8. Create electronic manual revisions.
  9. Perform engine performance analysis.
  10. Find alternative cleaning, plating, thermal spraying and coatings methods.
  11. Assist in engine and accessories troubleshooting.
  12. Other projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Good understanding of basic mechanical engineering principles.
  • Working knowledge of computers and MS Office experience/knowledge.
  • Must have completed 1st Year of Engineering studies. Open to 2nd, 3rd, 4th year students.
  • Can be a 4 or 8 month term. TBD upon discussion with applicable candidates.
