Job Duties:

StandardAero is seeking Engineering students for summer term positions (4 or 8 months) to support StandardAero’s production and growth projects. This work may include activities as listed below:

Perform reprocess cost evaluation and make recommendations for reduction Develop tools to measure and analyze process effectiveness Assist quality team in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality goals/KPIs Build, maintain and optimize new/existing quality metrics Investigate product complaints and reported quality issues in accordance with company and regulatory requirements Identify and document defects through to resolution. Assist in the maintenance of existing internal processes and quality system management documentation. Documentation review and maintenance Inspect systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvements to workflow and enhanced efficiency. Monitor risk-management procedures, to identify and report recurring issues.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

Good understanding of basic engineering principles: asking questions, problem-solving and be willing to learn and work in a collaborative setting Basic knowledge of computer and MS Office Must have completed 1st year of Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace studies
