We are seeking a dynamic and organized Program Coordinator to lead upcoming program delivery. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of the program, fostering a supportive learning environment, and equipping participants with the necessary skills to search, obtain and excel in their unique career path.

Job Summary:

As the Program Coordinator, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves coordinating with instructors, managing course materials, supporting participants, arranging practicum placements with local employers, and assisting participants with employment opportunities after program completion.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination or administration. Experience in vocational training or education is highly desirable.

Equivalencies will be considered.

Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and learning management systems (LMS). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Other Requirements:

A commitment to supporting participant success and fostering a positive learning environment. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Program Planning and Implementation:

Develop and manage a detailed course schedule. Coordinate with instructors to ensure timely delivery of course content. Organize orientation sessions and other program-related events.

Participant Support:

Serve as the primary point of contact for participants. Address participant inquiries and concerns promptly. Provide academic and logistical support to participants.

Practicum Coordination:

Identify and secure practicum placements with local employers. Coordinate and monitor practicum activities to ensure alignment with program goals. Serve as a liaison between participants and practicum site supervisors.

Employment Assistance:

Develop relationships with local employers to facilitate employment opportunities. Provide ongoing support to participants in their job search efforts after program completion.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, progress, and evaluations. Prepare and distribute course materials and resources. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, room bookings, and equipment setup.

Evaluation and Reporting:

Collect and analyze feedback from participants and instructors. Prepare regular reports on program progress and outcomes. Recommend improvements based on program evaluation results.

Collaboration and Communication:

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including instructors, partners, and suppliers. Ensure clear and effective communication among all parties involved in the program. Promote the program through various channels to attract potential participants.
