Most of these financial systems are large and complex in nature and include cross-government systems such as One Government Experience (1GX), Electronic Payment System (EPS) and Concur as well as department-specific payment systems such as the Contract Management Administration System (CMAS), and the Child Youth Financial Suite (CYFS.) These systems use a variety of databases such as DB2, Sybase, SQL Server and Oracle and use various technologies to include client-server, mainframe, and web-based applications. Because of the size, complexity and linkages of these financial systems, a unique blend of accounting, computer and technical skills is required for this position.

These data extracts are used to feed and interface with other systems such as CMAS, CYFS, and others through iServe. They are also used extensively to ensure proper data flow between interface systems and 1GX that supports core department processes and clients. Within the applications managed, the Senior Financial Analyst will monitor the maintenance of the department's reporting structure to ensure compliance with corporate policy, department standards and consistency within different reporting trees.
