The Aurum Group is currently seeking a highly skilled IT Support Analyst with a minimum of three years of experience in a technical support role. The ideal candidate will be adept at providing both onsite and remote support as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving a variety of hardware, software, and network issues. You must be located in Calgary, AB as this job is full time in the office.

Performance Requirements & Expectations:
  • Provide hardware, software, and connectivity support to end-user desktop/laptop/tablet/mobile/printer equipment.
  • Respond promptly to support incidents and ensure requests are logged and solutions documented within the ticketing system.
  • Setup user accounts, end user hardware/software and ensure system security is maintained.
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of our software and the supporting Infrastructure.
  • Train end-users in the effective use of IT systems and equipment.
  • Assist in maintaining asset inventory.
  • On occasion, assist System Administrator with maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing core infrastructure such as servers, switches, routers, power supplies, etc.
  • Participate in after hours on call rotation
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange, Windows 10/11, Azure, Intune, and Active Directory.
  • Mobile device knowledge and experience - iOS and Android.
  • Understanding of networks, file servers, security principles and wireless technology; previous exposure to the Windows networking environment.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principals and best practices.
  • Ability to manage helpdesk requests and implement technical solutions.
  • Willingness to engage in system admin cross-training and special projects as required.
