Zurich Canada seeks a Scrum Master/Project Leader experienced in working with the Guidewire Suite.

This role offers a unique chance to enhance your skills and expertise in a nurturing environment where your opinions are valued.

It involves a mix of remote and on-site work.

What you will do:
  • Strongly support the Product Owner and Development Team in their tasks.
  • Provide team support with a servant leadership approach and lead by example, embodying Scrum and Agile principles.
  • Coach the Scrum Team and organization on applying Agile/Scrum practices to exceed customer expectations.
  • Assess and enhance the team's Scrum Maturity level in a sustainable manner.
  • Remove obstacles hindering progress.
What you bring to the table:

Required:

Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 years of IT Project Management experience

Minimum 3 years working with Guidewire products. Alternatively, High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 years of relevant IT Project Management experience related to Guidewire products.

AND

  • Operational consulting or business systems integration experience.
  • Previous role as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile development frameworks, particularly large-scale Scrum.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Jira.

Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional Certification.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work streams effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
  • Proven teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Certification in a lead/ScrumMaster role within an Agile framework.
  • Passionate about Insurtech.
  • Capacity to comprehend project technical complexities and suggest solutions.
  • Experience with large-scale Guidewire transformation projects involving multiple systems.
  • Ability to grasp business requirements and guide Scrum teams in defining appropriate epics or stories.
  • Implement an efficient configuration management strategy.
  • Present project updates and solutions to leadership.
  • Analyze, design, and implement solutions for P&C insurance businesses.
  • Familiarity with the Guidewire PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter data model.
