Job Title: Collections Paralegal
We are seeking an experienced Collections Paralegal to join our team in Regina. As a dynamic and collaborative firm, we value individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and calendar collection deadlines
- Draft legal correspondence and documents
- Filing documents with the court
- Communicate with debtors to resolve payment issues
- Assemble information for cases requiring legal action
- Prepare and complete precedents
- Correspond with clients
- Process payments and settlements
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience, preferably in litigation or collections
- Proficiency in Word processing and spreadsheet software
- Ability to use online resources such as Collect Link, Techcom, and Litigation Highway
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
