Project Accountant Role: Financial Analysis and Reporting
As a key member of the project team, the Project Accountant will be responsible for financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
About the Role
- Work with project management to identify and forecast financial exposures
- Prepare financial reports and analyze cost reports to verify budgets and actual costs
- Track and analyze productivity data and participate in quarterly forecasts and annual business plans
- Review and issue monthly project cost reports and prepare progress invoices to clients
- Main point of contact for client audits and monitor subcontract costs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Experience in construction or related industry preferred
- Progressive experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
