Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team at senior living homes in Woodbridge. Our client offers a competitive compensation package and a 3-month full-time contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care in accordance with policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
  • Identify the needs of residents and develop and maintain appropriate care plans.
  • Ensure timely and accessible admission for residents.
  • Ensure the safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and follow protocols on all assigned shifts.
  • Hold a Diploma in Practical Nursing and current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Have sound nursing knowledge in geriatric care and nursing administration.
  • Be familiar with the requirements of the Nursing Home Act and Regulations, the Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, and Food & Drug Act.

Requirements:

  • Current certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (RPN).
  • Ability to provide a copy of the nursing license to indicate good standing.
