About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented General Office Clerk to join our team. As a General Office Clerk, you will work independently and be responsible for duties associated with the booking process of breast imaging province wide. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Booking appointments
  • Answering phones
  • Updating client records in database
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.), Internet, and Database programs. You will also have excellent judgment, diplomacy and discretion in handling confidential and/or sensitive information. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Working effectively in a stressful environment
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Graduate from a recognized Office administration, Business or Secretarial Diploma Program (preferred)
  • Minimum six (6) months related administrative/secretarial experience
  • Strong keyboarding skills (30 wpm minimum)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and/or supervision
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
