Summary
The Sales Enablement & Business Development team is a motivated and talented group that works in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment that touches many aspects of the business.
We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated specialist to define and execute targeted, business development strategies in the pre-arrival, post-arrival and newcomer space. This role will focus on collaborating with external partners, sales & distribution channels, marketing and other business streams in order to elevate these partnerships all while supporting a multi-brand strategy that includes Bell Mobility, Virgin Plus and Lucky Mobile.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and execute strategic partnership plans to accelerate wireless and grow revenue in the pre-arrival, post-arrival and newcomer markets/segments
- Analyze the customer base and weekly results to provide recommendations that drive growth and intervene on potential risks
- Define recommendations and lead programs to drive channel sales growth, such as compensation, training / knowledge base, marketing, business development support
- Generate good understanding of internal tools, processes and risk management
- Lead a cross functional group to execute sales enablement plan with key partners
- Execute quarterly marketing tactics and support campaigns
- Build and present executive level presentations
Critical Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data and generate insight and action
- Results-oriented and resourceful, with the ability to think outside the box
- A self-starter, motivated to execute and react in a fast paced environment
- Possess a passion for success and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
- Experience and understanding of the marketing planning and Channel retail such as product, pricing and marketing communications
- Highly organized, strong time management skills and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated success in leading large cross-functional teams towards one end goal
- Strong interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with the ability to get things done through influence
- In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree or Bachelor degree in marketing or relevant experience
- 2-3+ years' experience in developing and executing marketing programs
- Able to work in a fast pace environment and meeting tight deadlines
- Previous experience in a planning & strategy role
- Comfortable presenting compelling stories supported with research and quantitative analysis
- Enjoys working within high energy team and collaborates cross-functionally with ease
- Business development and / or telecom experience would be an asset
- MBA or professional designation (CPA, CFA, PMP) would be an asset
