About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at Compass Canada. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all hard floor surfaces, including dry mopping, wet mopping, and polishing.
  • Strip and finish hard floor surfaces as needed.
  • Transport and dispose of garbage and recyclables.
  • Clean glass areas, including windows and mirrors.
  • Clean washrooms, including floors, walls, and ceilings.
  • Clean stairwells and elevator cabs.
  • Wash walls and ceilings, and dust ceiling light fixtures and fans.
  • Use pile lifting equipment to restore carpet.
  • Shampoo broadloom and use extracting equipment to clean broadloom.

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is required.
