Job Summary

As a Dairy Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your responsibilities will include zoning the department, rotating stock, and ensuring that merchandise is properly signed and priced.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Zones the department to ensure a clean and organized store environment.
  • Rotates stock to ensure that expired products are removed and replaced with fresh ones.
  • Ensures that merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
  • Adheres to food safety and handling procedures and follows sanitation and cleaning procedures.
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
  • Maintains features and keeps the area neat, clean, and organized.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
