The Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Caretaker to join our team. As a Caretaker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and common areas
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and repairing equipment and furniture
  • Assist with the setup and teardown of events and activities
  • Provide general support to teachers and staff as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the school

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
