This role is part of a small, highly visible team responsible for supporting proposal preparation and creation for OpenText sales opportunities. Key responsibilities include managing proposal projects through the entire lifecycle, from intake to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage RFI, RFQ, RFP, and other questionnaire activities to ensure on-time submission
- Proactively manage multiple proposal assignments and tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Drive the proposal process, ensuring critical milestones and deadlines are met, and coordinating reviews with key stakeholders
- Review and analyze customer requirements, create task outlines and schedules
- Participate in team alignment calls and strategy discussions to clarify scope of work, gain insights, and develop win themes
- Coordinate team member contributions to develop high-quality, compliant responses
- Create customer response templates and manage project workflow through the RFP process
- Prepare final documents for submission, format, proofread, and edit for accuracy, clarity, and readability
- Train Sales and cross-functional organizations on proposal best practices, policies, and procedures
- Assist in managing the proposal content library, ensuring timely, consistent, and relevant market, product, and company information
Requirements:
- Proposal management experience in the enterprise software or high-tech industry is preferred
- Ability to adapt and learn new software and processes
- Ability to work well within a fast-paced, high-energy team environment
- Integrity, flexibility, adaptability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to excel in a high-impact environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and experience with proposal automation tools and Salesforce is a plus
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
