Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our interdisciplinary team at New Brunswick Extra-Mural (EMP)-Programme extra-mural (PEM) du Nouveau-Brunswick. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing quality care within the scope of practice to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and provide quality care to patients and families within the scope of practice.
  • Work efficiently as a member of the team and possess leadership and coaching skills.
  • Develop and maintain strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Ensure a high regard for confidentiality and maintain excellent work habits.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in social work from an approved school of social work.
  • Member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers and meet the requirements of the Canadian Association of Social Workers.
  • Knowledge of the target population of Extra-Mural Services and available community services.
  • Valid New Brunswick Class 5 Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Current CPR Level C certification.
