Senior Weapons Artist - Treyarch (Vancouver)

Treyarch is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Senior Weapon and Hard Surface Artist to join their Weapon Art team. This role is crucial for developing weapons in First Person Shooter games. If you're passionate about 3D art and FPS games, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to designing weapons, attachments, and equipment for in-game and promotional purposes through Modeling, Texturing, Designing, and Rendering.
  • Rig and implement assets into the game.
  • Collaborate with Artists, Animators, and Designers to ensure an exceptional player experience.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in game development.
  • Proficiency in hard surface modeling and photo-realistic texturing.
  • Strong attention to detail, color balance, and graphic design.
  • Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new tools.
  • Expertise in industry-standard 3D and image editing programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Maya and Substance Painter.
  • Extensive knowledge of weapons, military applications, and game engines.
