Who we are looking for

Global Cybersecurity (GCS) protects State Street and its clients from the impact of cyber-attacks against systems by understanding the risks these attacks present and mitigating them through a robust, continuously evolving, cybersecurity program and control environment.

Cyber Architecture & Engineering (Cyber A&E) is one of five functions that make up GCS. Cyber A&E designs, architects, deploys, and continually enhances security measures for the protection of State Street's information related to its assets and customers.

This DLP Engineer position will sit in the Integrated Defensive Engineering & Architecture sub-function in Cyber A&E. This role is responsible for overall design, build, and implementation of modern cloud and SAAS based Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems to secure and protect our organization's data and systems

The Integrated Defensive Architecture and Engineering is seeking a data loss prevention subject matter expert to deliver cybersecurity solutions. You will play a key role on a team of cyber analysts and engineers to create, implement, and maintain DLP Controls using SaaS and IaaS based solutions to reduce risk and drive DLP strategy at State Street.

What you will be responsible for

· You will play a key role on a team of cybersecurity analysts and engineers to create, implement, and maintain DLP Controls using SaaS and IaaS based solutions to reduce risk and drive DLP strategy at State Street

· Leverage data protection technology subject matter expertise to design, build, and implement tools to safeguard from cyber risks for data in use, in motion, and at rest

· Analysis of the problem space, documentation of the approach, and working with architecture to identify a target state architecture

· Maintain close ties to various stakeholders, developers, and engineers across the company, ensuring the services we create meet their needs as products evolve

· Collaborate with partners in different teams to resolve the dependencies with data loss prevention products

· Design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure to meet the organization's requirements and ensure high availability

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

· 8 years of experience engineering and deploying both custom and COTS production systems to support cybersecurity initiatives

· Proven experience with DLP tools and systems like Symantec, Zscaler, Microsoft Purview, Digital Guardian and others

· Advanced understanding and experience deploying advanced, modern applications in cloud and IAAS environments, such as AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

· Knowledge and experience spanning other cybersecurity domains such as SIEM, Cloud Security, Network Security, and Identity Security

Education & Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field.

· AWS cloud certifications, CISSP, and other professional certifications such as SANS/GIAC certifications are highly desirable.
