About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Trans-Logic Freight Systems Inc. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and income tax returns.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.

The primary language of work is English.
