About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Linux Consultant to join our team at Canonical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing technical expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on our Linux solutions
  • Develop and deliver customized solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Convey market requirements to key stakeholders and contribute to the development of generic solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our customers, providing expert guidance and support
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Extensive experience with Linux, preferably Debian or Ubuntu
  • Strong knowledge of embedded Linux systems, including Yocto and Buildroot
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Result-oriented and able to multitask
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time for customer meetings and company events
