We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Linux Consultant to join our team at Canonical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing technical expertise to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with customers to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on our Linux solutions
- Develop and deliver customized solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Convey market requirements to key stakeholders and contribute to the development of generic solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor to our customers, providing expert guidance and support
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Extensive experience with Linux, preferably Debian or Ubuntu
- Strong knowledge of embedded Linux systems, including Yocto and Buildroot
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Result-oriented and able to multitask
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time for customer meetings and company events
