Job Title: Verification Specialist

About the Role:
  • Verify the validity and accuracy of Conditional Sale Agreements or Loan Agreements in all respects.
  • Resolve discrepancies by communicating with Credit Analysts and/or dealers to make corrections.
  • Refer exception funding situations to the leadership team for review and resolution.
  • Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas, ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls.
  • Champion a high-performance environment and implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates your team.
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask while utilizing numerous operating systems.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in all documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers professionally and build sustainable relationships.
  • Previous customer-facing experience, preferably in a phone or administrative role.
  • Completion of post-secondary education is preferred.
  • Previous administrative and document management experience is an asset.

Pursuant to a language needs assessment, the successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French to serve English-speaking clientele.
