A&W Restaurants in Terrace, British Columbia, is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to join their team.

Starting Compensation: $47,750, depending on experience and completion of training.

ROLE

The Assistant Manager will collaborate closely with the Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to A&W Standards and regulations, and providing leadership in the Manager's absence.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure high quality service, speed, and cost control
  • Maintain standards daily and identify areas for improvement
  • Supervise staff schedules and roles
  • Provide training, address performance issues, and uphold safety regulations
  • Manage financial tasks including accounting, inventory, and cost control
  • Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and exceptional service for customers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years of restaurant supervisory experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership abilities
  • Proficiency in restaurant operations
  • Interest in mentoring and developing team members
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks and accounting

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Training and coaching proficiency
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to lead meetings

ADDITIONAL NOTES

  • Physical demands include standing, walking, and occasional lifting
