We are looking for a SAP Cloud Full-Stack Developer to join our Global Digital Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will create, deliver, and run digital applications for users managing sales & distribution activities in the movement of goods between BASF divisions and end-customers.

You will partner and consult with stakeholders to innovate solutions proactively across multiple technology platforms to anticipate future needs. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the migration from an SAP R/3 ERP to SAP S/4 HANA and a Multi-ERP Approach of BASF.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Order Management team in transitioning from a single SAP R/3 system to multiple SAP S/4 HANA systems.
  • Design interfaces, technical enhancements, and new applications for the Order to Cash processes.
  • Develop applications using cutting-edge programming techniques, ensuring adherence to all relevant company development guidelines.
  • Ensure the delivery of stable, supportable, and runnable technical solutions collaborating with operations.
  • Participate in project planning and provide cost estimations for complex projects.
  • Support testing activities and assist in error correction and collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of new applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to bring innovation to the team's work.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in interface technologies and development, with a focus on API development and management.
  • Expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), and SAP Build Process Automation, ideally covering SAP Cloud Application Programming model (CAP).
  • Experience with Kafka or similar streaming platforms.
  • Strong understanding of cloud development principles and technologies (e.g. JavaScript, UI-development capabilities), ability to work with OData in the API environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Proficiency in ABAP / ABAP OO and ABAP for Cloud Development.
  • Expertise in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
  • Experience with SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Functional knowledge of SAP SD / Order-To-Cash processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
