Material Cost Optimization Financial Analyst Join Our Team as a Material Cost Optimization Financial Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Material Cost Optimization Financial Analyst to help optimize material costs and contribute to our CO2P (Material Cost and Carbon Emissions Optimization Program). As part of your role, you'll be involved in financial analysis, cost accounting, optimization, and lean methodologies, working collaboratively to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.

About the Role
  • Conduct detailed analyses of material costs, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track material costs and the financial impact of cost optimization initiatives.
  • Collect, manage, and interpret financial data related to material costs, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that reduce material costs.
  • Support lean projects by providing financial insights and analysis, including cost-benefit analysis and value stream mapping.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and insights to senior management and other stakeholders, clearly communicating material cost optimization strategies and results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or a related role.
  • Familiarity with lean methodologies and principles.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., PowerBI, SAP, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities to an executive level.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
