About the Role

Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. is a leading Combat System Integrator specializing in large, sophisticated integration projects. We take advantage of advanced engineering practices and modern technologies to design, develop, and integrate combat systems. As a member of our team, the successful candidate will:

  • Participate in a structured cooperative educational/work program between the company and a college/university student enrolled in an accredited degree program directly related to skills required by the company.
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to create Three Dimensional (3D) models for compartment and topside arrangements for the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) Program.
  • Perform Quick Look analysis to prove concepts; including Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Line of Sight and Cable Length Restrictions.
  • Conduct meeting minutes for design reviews.
  • Understand configuration/change management principles and their application in the product development life cycle.
What You Bring to the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Winter Co-op. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Current enrollment in an engineering field, preferably Electrical.
  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio.
  • Aptitude for working well in teams.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Eligibility for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance.
Additional Skills Desired for the Role

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Working knowledge of Creo, SolidWorks PDM, Windchill, or AutoCAD.
  • Active security clearance.
  • Results-Oriented Self-Starter Attitude.
