As Manager, Events & Catering, you will be responsible for the management of events and catering logistics, and the Concierge Program. You will directly supervise a team of staff and ensure that the guest service experience meets or exceeds the standards set by the Company and Clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and execution of high-quality meetings, conferences, and events
  • Collaborating with internal partners on conference and event planning
  • Inspiring and motivating staff to prioritize excellent customer service and hospitality
  • Conducting regular assessments of business needs and guest services to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Overseeing the execution of events and monitoring event timelines, logistics, and food and beverage operations

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Superior project management abilities with a focus on prioritization and efficiency
  • Comprehensive understanding of liquor license requirements and laws
  • Exceptional thoughtfulness and diplomacy to cultivate relationships with stakeholders
  • Progressive, substantial event experience, including +5 years of experience in planning, management, and execution of large-scale events
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Suite
