Job Summary

Sport Chek is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Pitt Meadows. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt of inventory at our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, scan in all incoming distributions and transfers, maintain shipping logs, and file all paperwork.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Monitor all un-received cartons and transfers, place necessary claims with the FGL Claims Department, sort shipments, and distribute product accordingly.
  • Stockroom Management: Transfer stock to other stores as requested, detail received shipments from supply companies, and maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer experience to support your team in achieving performance targets.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous retail inventory control or warehouse experience is an asset.
  • Skills: Passion for active, healthy living and sports, physically capable of lifting and moving heavy containers (up to 50lbs), ability to work a flexible schedule, and computer literacy is an asset.
  • Certifications: Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check (must be 18 or older to complete a background check).
