We support Canadian farmers throughout the growing season by providing agronomic services and advice, selling crop inputs, buying their crops at harvest, and selling them to markets around the world through our efficient network of high-throughput Ag Business Centres in Western Canada.

Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Agronomic Solutions Specialist to join our team at our Richardson Pioneer Ag Business Centre. As an Agronomic Solutions Specialist, you will contribute to the overall success of our customers and our business by providing agronomic services, identifying agricultural needs, and developing opportunities for live demonstrations and tours.

Responsibilities

  • Visit producers on their farms to identify their agricultural needs specific to agronomy and crop production, contributing to increased sales volumes and overall location profitability.

  • Provide agronomic services such as soil testing and recommendation of crop products.

  • Develop opportunities for live demonstrations and tours with customers.

Qualifications

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Agriculture is required.

  • Relevant related agronomic experience is required.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Possess or be willing to obtain a Professional Agrologist or Technical Agrologist designation and/or a Certified Crop Advisor Designation.

  • A valid driver's licence is required.
