Solar Field Service Technician II

We want you to feel included and your comments and ideas to be appreciated. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist senior Field Service Technicians and lead junior technicians in operating and maintaining utility scale solar facilities * Troubleshoot low voltage DC power systems and low voltage and medium voltage AC power systems * Conduct preventive maintenance on AC and DC power systems * Identify faulty or underperforming equipment * Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) * Maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables * Assist in development of site operating plans * Follow site safety plan and safe work practices * Adhere to proper Lock-out-tag-out (LOTO) practices and procedures * Interface with project stakeholders and subcontractors * Represent the company in a professional manner * Respond to emergency calls within 1.5 hours * Operate company vehicles in accordance with state and federal laws and company policies * Attend work regularly and punctually **Qualifications:** * High school Diploma/GED required * 3+ years of related electrical maintenance experience and/or education required * Ability to reside within a 60-mile radius of the work site * Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule for emergency response * Associate's degree in a technical field preferred * OSHA 10/30 certification preferred * FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot certification preferred * Basic knowledge of high voltage electrical power systems * Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, low voltage and medium voltage electrical power systems, drawings, circuit theory, OSHA regulations, equipment operation, job hazard analysis, electrical tools, ANSI/NETA MTS, SCADA systems * Advanced knowledge of hand tools **Benefits:** * Medical, Prescription, Dental and Vision coverage * Basic Life and Dependent Life insurance * Short- and Long-Term Disability insurance * RRSP with 6% company match * 4 weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) and 12 Paid Holidays * Tuition and Green Car reimbursement * Volunteer and Charity Matching * Paid Parental Leave and Paid Sabbatical Leave * Employee Referral Bonus * Employee Discounts and Wellness programs * Wellness Reimbursement $680 CAD annually **Physical Requirements and Environment:** * Rarely: Climbing, Crouching, Kneeling, Pulling 5-15 lbs., Pushing 5-15lbs., and Stooping required * Occasionally: Carrying 5-15lbs., Pinching, Lifting 5-15lbs., and Walking required * Frequently: Gripping required * Constantly: Reading, Grasping, Handling, Hearing, Reaching, Vision, Repetitive Motion, Sitting, and Standing required * Rarely exposed to Wet, Noise, or Vibration in the work environment * Occasionally exposed to Extreme Heat, and Humidity in the work environment * Frequently exposed to Extreme Cold in the working environment * Constantly exposed to Hazards in the work environment
