Job Description:

Aliant Resources is seeking a number of Heavy Equipment Operators with a range of experience for our projects in Cochrane, Ontario.

Operations out of town are on a 7 day in / 7 day out rotating shift.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all training required for Heavy Equipment Operators.
  • A detailed understanding of mining and /or industrial and /or civil construction methods.
  • Ability to work on rotating shifts.
  • Ability to work extended hours.
  • Take part in required training.
  • Adhere to all safety, health and environment policies and procedures.

  • Track Excavator
  • Front-end Loader
  • Bulldozer
  • Grader

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team oriented
  • Dependable
  • Punctual
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to build positive and respectful working relationships

Experience

  • Three years (3Yrs+)
  • Related experience within the mining, construction or industrial sector is an asset
  • Valid Driver's license, and safe driving record is required for this position
