The Sales Support Officer plays a crucial role in providing top-notch service and administrative support to the International Private Banking (IPB) Sales Team. The incumbent is required to have in-depth knowledge of the Bank's commercial and retail products and services, focusing on assisting with documentation, monitoring, compliance, and ensuring all necessary requirements are met to minimize risks for the Bank.

This position is for a 12-month term.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Bank's Commercial and Retail Banking products and services to cater to clients' ongoing needs
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to inquiries, concerns, and complaints from clients, IPB Sales Officers, and Managers
  • Provide exceptional service and support utilizing innovative approaches to address International Private Banking Client needs while maintaining a low overall risk for the Bank
  • Take ownership of client inquiries/complaints and ensure resolutions are reached to client satisfaction or escalate when necessary
  • Adhere to all Business Authentication requirements to safeguard client and Bank information
  • Accurately complete reporting obligations and submit them on time
  • Ensure precise completion of all function-specific documentation following Bank guidelines
  • Offer timely and insightful client information to IPB Sales Officers
  • Process daily transactions and Service Requests from Salesforce accurately and in a timely manner
  • Verify/authorize transactions within approved limits
  • Address identified issues by making necessary corrections through exception reporting
  • Assist in implementing operational procedure and system changes to enhance efficiency and compliance with Bank regulations
  • Comply with regulatory requirements such as KYC, CDIC, FCAC, AML/ATF, Privacy, OHS, and SSI guidelines and processes as part of the service process

  • Mandatory fluency in English and Spanish
  • Business Administration Diploma
  • Prior experience in banking, particularly in Sales or Operations
  • Proficiency in PC and Keyboarding skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to understand and respect client needs and privacy
  • Flexibility to handle diverse tasks and responsibilities
  • Capability to work independently and confidently within prescribed limits
