Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Documentation Specialist to join our Group Claims and Admin Management team at Equitable. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and delivering comprehensive training programs for our Group Administration team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in project working groups to provide subject matter expertise and update procedural change.
  • Analyze and assess training and development needs to determine and create effective training programs.
  • Develop and utilize training materials, including training strategies, lesson plans, presentation materials, and training activities.
  • Evaluate and record training effectiveness through the measurement of skill improvement and attainment of service standards.
  • Perform analysis, develop, and maintain new/existing procedural documentation.
  • Execute training sessions to existing staff and potentially new hires.
  • Perform team audits and report on quality results, assess for areas of improvement.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum design and understanding of training concepts and methodologies related to adult education.
  • Superior interpersonal, oral/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven experience in documentation and courseware preparation and delivery of interactive training sessions using a variety of methods.
  • Comfortable with managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform in a constantly changing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Wiki-based applications.
  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Certificate in adult education/learning would be an asset.
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry would be an asset.
  • Bilingual would be an asset.
