Warehouse Process Manager

Job Summary
Grainger Businesses is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Warehouse Process Manager. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of process improvements across our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Process Improvement Initiatives: Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and supply chain, to align processes and drive business results.
- Develop and Maintain Standard Processes: Ensure standard processes are documented and consistently followed across all warehouse operations.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators: Analyze and interpret key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and drive business results.
- Lead Supervisory Team: Mentor and develop supervisory team members to lead and manage warehouse operations effectively.
- Develop Business Relationships: Foster strong business relationships with external stakeholders and suppliers to drive business results.
- Champion Leadership Development: Develop and maintain leadership skills in the supervisory team to drive business results.
- Lead Departmental Safety Focus: Develop and implement safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a multi-shift operation with large employee populations.
- Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen and experience to support budgeting and forecasting.
- Continuous Improvement: Experience with continuous improvement, process mapping, LEAN, and/or Six Sigma methodology.
- Analytics: Strong analytical skills, including data mining, report building, and presentation.
- Project Management: Experience with project management and/or education preferred.
