As a Unit Claims Manager, Support, you will lead a team to achieve key business goals, coordinate workflow, and plan activities to ensure optimal service levels.
About the Role
- Provide leadership and manage a team to achieve key business goals.
- Coordinate the workflow of the unit and participate in day-to-day operations.
- Plan activities to ensure optimal level of service.
- Maintain effective communication channels with other departments.
- Liaise with other claims experts or management on technical and administrative issues.
- Ensure corporate policies, standards, and procedures are followed.
- Facilitate continuous learning and development.
- Conduct ongoing productivity and quality audits and deliver feedback.
- Identify and recommend changes to policies and processes to improve business results.
- Participate in expense management and recruitment.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent business experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- Minimum 2 years of management experience or equivalent work experience.
- Strong technical skills in claims.
- Leadership skills, including ability to motivate and coach staff.
