Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with treatment programs and application of therapeutic modalities under the direction of a Registered Therapist to restore, maintain and/or enhance the level of functional independence and quality of life of clients/patients/residents.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of clients/patients/residents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide education and support to clients/patients/residents and their families to promote independence and self-management.
Requirements
  • Occupational/Physical Therapist Assistant diploma (OTA/PTA)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Laser Certification
