About the Role

This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. The successful candidate will work closely with the Technical Services, Mine Operations, and Mine Maintenance teams.

  • Support mine operations in various capacities, including mine design, planning and scheduling, ventilation support, and geotechnical support.
  • Contribute to mine project work, identify operational, capital, and business improvement requirements, and constraints to execute mine development and production activities.
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office, and knowledge of other mining-related software would be an asset.
  • Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent in Geological/Mine Engineering or Geology.
  • Previous experience in mining, underground mining, and potash mining would be an asset.
