About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our team at Atlantic Industries Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing solutions and taking orders as required.
  • Support sales activities, including online bid searches, sales strategy execution, lead generation, and sales record maintenance.
  • Coordinate project support activities, such as transportation booking, pricing negotiation, and delivery coordination with freight carriers.
  • Identify sales opportunities through prospecting and lead support from the Sales Manager, monitoring the existing client base for expansion and growth.
  • Assist in negotiating agreements, change orders, and contracts with customers.
  • Direct selling on small-scale public tenders and private negotiated projects.
  • Participate in company risk and opportunity evaluations with the Sales Manager.
  • Communicate with manufacturing teams to ensure client product and orders are on schedule.
  • Review project tender documents and specifications as required.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates for customers, owners, and consultants.
  • Occasional travel to site walks and pre-tender meetings.
  • Commit to continuous learning of AIL products and their differentiated selling features.
  • Identify and refer opportunities arising from client queries to other departments or regions as necessary.
  • Ascertain trends and repetitive occurrences to enable permanent resolution of issues through process enhancement.
  • Support the Sales Manager and Technical Sales Team as required.
  • Provide feedback on key customer information to Sales, Marketing, and Production.
Requirements
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Highly motivated and driven work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and follow tasks to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset.
  • Knowledge of ERP system is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of Sales and Marketing.
  • Civil Engineering Technology or Business Management is an asset.
  • Previous experience with Civil Construction Products sales is an asset.
