Modern Niagara is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team in Vaughan. As an Electrical Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our project managers and ensuring the successful delivery of electrical projects.

About Modern Niagara:

Responsibilities:

  • Aid project managers in obtaining shop drawings from manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and log shop drawings for issue to the general contractor/owner and engineers.
  • Prepare O & M manuals and obtain information from suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
  • Manage and distribute project-related documents and drawings to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Enter budget information into the accounting system.
  • Complete project CCDCs as part of project close-out.
  • Enter change orders and distribute change notices/orders to subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Apply the SMaC Recipe to daily tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-4 years of project coordination experience within the construction industry.
  • Previous experience working in the construction industry, particularly field work, is an asset.
  • Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project or construction management software is an asset.
  • Attention to detail, strong reading and writing skills, and effective communication skills.
  • Able to work in an office and field environment and maintain excellent working relationships with others.
  • A vehicle is required for occasional travel to job sites.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
