We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team at Plan Group.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction scheduling, with experience in creating and maintaining electrical and mechanical construction schedules.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing critical path method (CPM) schedules, creating work breakdown structures, and performing schedule impact analysis for change orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, update and maintain electrical and mechanical construction schedules.
  • Develop critical path method (CPM) schedules.
  • Create work breakdown structures.
  • Perform schedule impact analysis for change orders.
  • Review critical path, cost loading, and schedule content.
  • Identify relationships, constraints, and milestones with project work schedules.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma as Electrical Technician/Electrical Technologist, or Journeyman License in Electrical, Plumbing, or Sheetmetal is an asset.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Construction Scheduler.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6.
  • Experience in use of MS Project, CPM Primavera, Construction Cost Scheduling.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
