Role overview

We are seeking a Principal.Net Engineer- Full Stack to join our team and build functional applications and websites. Responsibilities include participating in the entire software development life cycle, debugging applications, and configuring existing systems. If you're equally happy to roll up your sleeves to write code and review other team members' work, we want to meet you.

What you'll do

  • 8-12 years of development experience in languages/platforms such as C#, F#, .NET, Azure, cloud-based SaaS, and PaaS solutions.
  • Experience using web-based technologies such as HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript (and frameworks).
  • Hands on experience with Azure Functions
  • Strong working knowledge with data import/export, data transformation
  • Experience with RESTful API design and integration.

What you bring to the role

  • Experience as a software developer working with product teams.
  • Working knowledge of databases technologies (e.g., relational, document or graph)
  • Experience with Azure Service Bus or related message queue technologies.
  • CI/CD technologies & strategies, Containerization technologies
  • A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field
  • Postgres experience is preferred.

Working arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, Mississauga or Halifax.
