Senior Building Automation Project Manager

Modern Niagara is seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Automation Project Manager to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of building automation projects, from planning to completion.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Building Automation Project Manager with a strong background in building automation systems and extensive experience managing complex projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of building automation projects, from initial design to final implementation.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline, and ensure they are adhered to throughout the project.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project goals are met.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation project management.
  • Strong understanding of building automation systems, including HVAC, lighting.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • PMP certification preferred.
