Bartender - Hydra Estiatorio Mediterranean

As the famous Greek Poet Homer best said, "Wine can of their wits, the wise beguile, make the sage frolic, and the serious smile." This is the axiom to Hydra Estiatorio Mediterranean, a Mediterranean restaurant that offers a carefully curated wine list and mixologist crafted classic cocktails.

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender at Hydra Estiatorio Mediterranean, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving it Right certified and understanding of responsible alcohol service
  • Minimum of 2 years bartending experience in a comparable atmosphere and comfortable serving table tables as well as the bar
  • Certification in liquor, wine and food service courses is an asset
  • Excellent wine and cocktail knowledge
  • WSET certification is an asset
  • Must be passionate about food and people
  • Possess strong communication skills with a genuine personality
  • Ability to suggestively sell, beverages and wines
  • Shifts will only start in late afternoons

Requirements:

  • Valid proof of Social Insurance Number
  • Legal to work in Canada with proof as a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Residence or Valid Work Permit
