About the Role:
- Prepare and chop food, such as beef, chicken, shrimp, and scallops, to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Monitor inventory items for freshness, quality, and quantity, ensuring that our kitchen is always stocked and ready to go.
- Work closely with our chefs to receive customer orders and pass uncooked product to the kitchen for cooking.
- Maintain a clean and safe workstation, adhering to our strict food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Provide exceptional communication skills, demonstrating respect, regard, and consideration for our guests and colleagues.
- Work as part of a team to achieve the success of our business, exhibiting attention to detail and accuracy in performing duties.
- Be flexible and support a 24/7 operation, working weekends and holidays as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an Asian kitchen.
- Basic math skills.
- Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin (written and verbal).
- Remarkable guest service skills.
- Innovation and creativity.
- Attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina (lifting, standing) and manual dexterity.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
