Job Title: Personal Support Worker

VON Canada is seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess client needs and develop personalized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as light housekeeping and meal preparation.
  • Support clients with daily activities, such as medication management, transportation, and companionship.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Document client progress and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker program or equivalent experience.
  • Current Standard First Aid Certificate or CPR level C Certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
