In your role, you will

Provide MRB Support:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality, to resolve material and structural issues identified during production or in-service.
  • Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities, providing technical guidance and recommendations.
  • Analyze stress reports, non-conformities, and deviations, proposing effective solutions to maintain airworthiness.
  • Work closely with DADs to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Perform Structural Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed stress analysis using finite element methods (FEM) and classical hand calculations.
  • Evaluate structural components, assemblies, and modifications.
  • Assess fatigue life, static strength, and damage tolerance.
  • Identify critical areas and propose design improvements.

Prepare Technical Documentation:

  • Prepare stress reports, compliance documents, and engineering change requests (ECRs).
  • Document findings, assumptions, and methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate records for certification purposes.

Support Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to enhance stress analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.
As our ideal candidate


• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in stress analysis for aircraft structures.

• Proficiency in FEM software (such as Nastran, Abaqus, or Ansys).

• Familiarity with aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, Transport Canada).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
