About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Retirement Actuarial Consultant to join our team at Aon Corporation. As a key member of our Retirement Solutions team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting client relationships, providing expert advice on retirement plan management, and contributing to the development of new service offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client relationships for small to medium-sized accounts, providing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered on schedule.
  • Understand all projects involved with a client and ensure all needs are being met and proceeding on schedule.
  • Work on larger, more complex projects with less oversight, taking responsibility for results, including explanations, presentations, and impact.
  • Mastery of technical concepts and ability to make reasonable interpretations of how they impact clients.
  • Develop and participate in effective oral presentations for existing or prospective clients, individually or in concert with team members.
  • Participate in business development activities, proactively initiating and leading discussions internally and externally.
  • Coordinate resources on different projects to achieve client results and collaborate with other experienced team members.
  • Display confidence, passion, and leadership, with a self-motivated approach to learning and growth.
  • Supervise, guide, and mentor less experienced colleagues.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in pension plan consulting or a related field.
  • English written and spoken.
  • Organization skills, rigour, and thoroughness.
  • Proficient MS Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or an equivalent degree.
  • Fully qualified actuary (FSA/FCIA) desired.
