About the Role

The Intermediate Software Developer is a key member of our development team, responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. This role requires a growth mindset, a passion for learning, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions using test-driven development and solid object-oriented design principles.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies to improve team performance and artifacts.
  • Contribute to design and code reviews, providing actionable feedback to drive quality and innovation.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach to drive real business outcomes.
  • Develop software that adheres to Assent's Design Guidelines and Coding Standards.
  • Ensure software security and integrity by following corporate security policies and guidelines.
  • Break down complex tasks into manageable pieces and prioritize work effectively.
  • Develop and implement testable software, ensuring test coverage meets Assent's guidelines.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of software development experience with C#/.NET core/.NET 8, MS SQL Server.
  • Experience building SaaS applications hosted on the cloud.
  • Strong professional experience in components such as Angular, Github Actions, Containers, Terraform, and AWS.
  • An education in Computer Science or a related field is considered an asset.
